About Us
Raosaheb Charitable Trust is a group that believes in the concept of Dev, Desh, Dharm (God, Country, Religion). They hold a firm belief that we owe something to society. This group comprises individuals from various fields, different sectors, and diverse backgrounds, who have come together on social media.
Under the concept of Dev, their primary goal is the preservation and revival of temples and historical monuments. Within the Desh concept, the main aim is to convey gratitude to India's three armed forces through sustainable projects. The Dharm concept focuses on the promotion of Indian culture, education, arts, sports, and literature.
Although these are the main objectives of the trust, it is not limited to just these aims. The trust is committed to undertaking any feasible and sustainable initiatives for the development of society, involving public participation. The trust is dedicated to working without any caste discrimination while carrying out these projects and other social utility works.
The formal inauguration of Raosaheb Charitable Trust took place on 20th April 2024 at Seva Bhavan, Pune. Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, also extended his best wishes for the occasion. Raosaheb Charitable Trust is officially registered under the Society Act of 1860, and donations to the trust will be 50% tax-exempt under section 80G.
While engaging in social work, the trust's members are also active on social media under the name Raosaheb’s Katta for arts and culture. They primarily use X (formerly Twitter) to conduct discussions and initiatives on various topics through the Space feature. Interviews and guidance sessions with renowned and talented Marathi personalities have been regularly conducted on Raosaheb’s Katta Space to date.
